Use IMGUR. I can't see us hosting attachment, ever.

Yeah, I was fine with it when I knew it was VB. But I'm so used to pasting images into replies on other XF forums it seems a shame that it's not enabled here and feels cumbersome now having to go to an external hosting site.

I sort of understand considering the size of the site, but it's not like hardware or cost is an issue considering it's a company forum run by techies.

I guess the content of the hosted images would potentially be more of an issue.

Not sure this has been mentioned but when in a forum with sub forums can the "post new thread" button be moved to the same place as when in the sub forum. Would elimate the big gap as week. Hope that makes sense.

i think I am getting used to the new layout now and like it.

It always shows you the first unread message. In this thread since you've read the start it'll take you to some place in the middle of it. For new threads since you haven't viewed any of it it'll take you to the first post as that is the first unread message. It is an excellent feature imo and makes using the forum so much better.

Doh didn't twig it was just first unread. If that's the case then just needs a page 1 adding to the page number shortcuts next to the thread.

Am i the first think the new layout is a bit 'all over' ? Just things like floating blue bands and having breadcrumbs at the top and bottom of the screen

I still find this hard to navigate and am I really expected to click 'watch thread' on every single thread I post to just so I don't miss nothing?

I do like the whole quote alert thing but that is all

That was there when the forum was refreshed with 5 lines between posts and it looked bad. It got removed.

I don't remember seeing that. It was like Swifty55's mockup on the old site and worked perfectly. I think part of the problem is that now the 'Report', 'Trust', 'Multi' and 'Quote' buttons are 'within' the post, rather than in a bar below the post itself but still connected to the same 'block' as it used to be.

Find a screenshot of the old forum posts, a single block for each post which contains the avatar stuff on the left, post and buttons makes a lot more sense than the current layout.

You can turn on auto watching of threads that you've created or replied too. So no, not "expected" to do anything.

Add some borders on the post list page as it just looks weird without them and make the forum more obvious using bold or something :)

.discussionListItem {
background-color: rgb(28, 87, 128);
border: 1px solid rgb(0,51,102);
padding-left: 5px;
}

.discussionList .sectionHeaders {
padding-right: 7px;
}

Bold needs a proper selector..

Please make the font colours more accessible when you're
I actually prefer the mobile version to how it ever was, no more mass zooming in to read a post
I totally agree - this is a better forum for mobile use, but it needs a bit of visual tweaking. My main complaint is the white font everywhere - it needs more colour differentiation when you are v viewing a forum - here is my mock-up of how I'd like it to look:
