You guys must lead seriously fragile existences :p

Grab the dark theme, install it and be happy.

Meanwhile the slight issues will be dealt with over time :)

I think that some of it might be the 3D effect making the avatar boxes pop out at me. Also there are too many pure white lines just added in for no reason, such as around the Home > Forums > Life > General Discussion part at the bottom. If it was a less bright colour like a grey it might strain my eyes less.

Also under the avatar where it says "Capodecina" or "Don" for example, does it really need those white lines above and below the text?

It just feels like the page is shouting at me, too much crap popping out to wreck my eyes.

edit: The report and edit boxes also have some rubbish white line and concave effect to them.

edit2: Might as well have a boxing glove coming out of the screen and punch me in the face effect next OCUK xD

Don't take it the wrong way - I say the following as a "mean jest":
I think, if for once the start point for the 'changes' at OCUK was something semi decent - people would have higher hopes for the "slight issues dealt over time" element. But as it is - when you change old for new, and the new, despite weeks of testing, is buggy like Windows Vista, looks like it was designed by a teenage Windows 10 fan on 'fiver' and several Tampermonkey script githubs are started within hours from launch - then how does that saying go - "you cannot czechoslovakian the trud" or something like that? ;)

Honestly, people need to stop using this response. If your website needs to be messed with by the user in order to not look awful then it needs sorting out. If the dark theme is better then it should be the default skin.

It's an acceptable solution, until a proper solution can be put in place on the forums themselves. The flat look in those styles is a lot better. And a dark theme should be supported, so that we have some choice.

I'm confused that it doesn't appear to have been tested.

A major driver of traffic towards your shop, and it's been released in this state? Very odd.
I don't think it was supposed to go live just yet going by some of the early posts in this thread....
