That's the rest of my rig on hold for a while then!

Will the stock that's coming after christmas be a larger quantity, or will it be the same mad rush? I sometimes need a little time before I can put in an order, and I keep missing out! :D
 
Got my case today, love it, though its just for a file server it is excellent. It is a very lightweight case which is a bonus, though with 5 hard drives in it is weighted towards the front.
 
Just got mine all fitted tonight! Couple of questions --

1. Does anyone elses case LED flash when pc's in sleep mode?? How can i stop this from happening without removing the LED completely?
2. I've got a filter on my desk and I have no idea where in the case it came from lol. It's a 140mm sized tray with very fine filter and 6 'panels'... o.O

Had a right wrestle with the FD fans too, ended up stabbing one of the fittings so resorted to screws.. think this issue's already been pointed out but I guess I received the bad batch. The fans are DEAD slient though!! Seriously can't hear them at all.

Well I guess that maybe:

1. You have plugged the LED flash connector into the hdd connector.
2. That filter should be the PSU underneath filter.

GREAT GREAT FANTASTIC CASE. Those that previosly bought for £84.99 will be laughing. sadly got mine for £89.99.
In comparison to my old antec 900 the build quality is far suprior, esp for a new brand in cases, well first i heard of.

ocuk always rises prices when they see demand is higher than stock they are getting. It's alright, everywhere else keeps prices reasonable so we just take our money to somewhere else.

But the HDD flash should still be off if my computer's in sleep mode, as it goes pretty much dead. I've taken the PSU out while it's in sleep mode and then plugged back in, turned back on and it resumed fine - meaning that during sleep the hard drives are off, therefore there should be no LED :/ I'll double check the connectors though when I get home.

Awesome case, got myne today and put my old pc in it, still a work in progress! got 2 x 120mm fans on the way to, (for the front and the bottom)

picked up 2 x 140mm fans with the order, and a new Akasa CPU cooler which is massive!

unfortunatly my 8pin cable wasnt long enough to go behind the motherboard, so ive ordered an Exstention so i can route it behind the tray, which should be here soon so i can sort it!

also missing my other 8800Ultra, as been reseating the heatsink but will be back in asap! :)

whats the corsair 750w psu like is it silent in this case can you hear it at full load at all ?

and does the fan aline up ok withn the case

its very quiet, and it lines up perfectly with the mesh for the fan, not sure on the newer models of PSUs as they seem longer.

well worth it! great case!

pic of the case sorted, with the 8pin wire routed correctly, along with my other 120mm fans. now have 4 x 120mm fans and 2 x 140mm fans :)

Thanks guys, its a great case! and loads of HDD space!

as for the cooler, i took the plunge really, really struggled with looking for reviews.

as for the cooling, at the moment ive got my Q6600, idle temps are in the low 20's on each core,

as for load temps, they are quite good, ran prime95 for a while, and the temps didnt exceed 40c so looks promising!

Ive used coretemp and HWmonitor to monitor the temps,

i think the airflow in the case really helps due to having 3 exhaust and 3 intakes in different areas it really helps it. also i have got Aircon in my bedroom, but it wasnt on during the testing. so will do a test and see what sort of results i get with it on aswell.

its a massive cooler, and i simply bought it as it matches the looks of the case internals. and it looks great!
