New Gaming Rig Advice..

Ordering my parts tomorrow. What is the difference between the two Gigabyte B350's? One is slightly cheaper than the other but both with exact same name.

Still think I should go for the 3000mhz Team RAM?
 
Managed to find the Gaming3 for £104 with a bit of searching - it's registered for the steam deal as well.

So today is the day! What RAM shall I go for? Seen some 3200mhz Vengeance that's pretty cheap.

My monitor is an AOC 144hz 1080p Monitor, I probably will upgrade to a 1440p monitor somewhere down the line but won't be yet.

I think we've had a little bit of a mix up here. I already have my 550w PSU, I am planning on using the 1600 cooler for the time being (it's meant to be decent for a moderate overclock) which will save me some money.

Already have a 1TB HDD as well as a 250GB Samsung SSD.

I think you may have thought I've sold my whole rig to my brother? I only sold him my graphics card and kept everything else - he will be buying my CPU when a motherboard becomes available.

In terms of how it looks in the case, I really don't care, as long as it works and it gets the best performance, that's what's important to me.
 
We can even get rid of the cooler as the 1600 cooler will do a job for now (seems to have good reviews).

I can understand why people like it looking nice but I think some lose sight of what's important - how it performs! Mines under my desk anyway so would never see it.
 
I could do but I'd rather not, I'm having withdrawal symptoms as it is :D

One positive out of all this is it's made me realise how much I enjoy fiddling around with computers, been looking in to IT Technician courses.

I think we are about ready to order the parts, I think I'll take a chance on Corsair 3200mhz, in sure one day it'll achieve good speeds even if it doesn't in the short term.

Got a question though, is there any difference between "Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16W 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) Vengeance LPX DDR4 Memory Kit - White" to
"Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) Vengeance LPX DDR4 Memory Kit - Black" ?

I'm seeing different weights for both and different dimensions when I'm viewing their product details.

1TB 7200rpm Seagate HDD
