New Gaming Rig Build Please! 06/07/2015

yeah I like the corsairs look, only thing that i don't really like on it is the feet but jeez I can live with that its whats inside that counts (sound like a weird hippie!) ide prefer just a slab black design like the case I was suggesting but if you say the corsairs the better for airflow and everything else im inclined to go with you on it, plus those door handles would make working on it a doddle! so will all of the components ive selected fit into that case? and what extra fans would you recommend me buying for it?

what were your thoughts on the monitor I mentioned above?

and ive asked Overclockers for a quote on building it as they're probably way better at cable management than me, then I can learn from there build plus saves me some time as I'll only be able to build late at night when the babys sleeping! if they charge too much its no worries I can fit it all together myself just may take a lot longer timewise! :P

should I utilize all the fan spots that case will allow me to put then? and which fans would you recommend me getting for it? I literally want it so ive got the full order written out here so I can just click onto each part, order it and build it! :)

get your opinions on this then hopefully ill be ready to place my order? is there a need to use all of the fan slots or would creating a positive airflow pressure be easy enough with these 3 fans that come stock with that case.

As for the monitor hopefully its good enough to get the most out of the GFX? and its well priced unless you have a better recommendation for this too?

can you recommend me the cheapest monitor I can get that would hit that 1440p? if not ill just stick with the 144hz its not essential that im maxing the gfx card out as im happy with what I have and mines a 22" probs 60hz i believe its a p223w acer atm so i think the 144hz will be a good enough upgrade for me for the time being?

as for casewise would the NZXT H440 you originally recommended do you think this would be okay to use? as i really do like it out of all the cases ive seen tbh, could I go for this and do you think it would be cool enough?

if the 144hz monitor will be good enough for me for gaming ill just stick with that as i checked for a 1440p and erm yeah they're a little more pricey! so i think ill invest in one of these at a later date! if the 144hz will work well enough for me then im more than happy and will get an upgrade at a later date then can use the 144hz as a spare monitor for when playing FPS games :)

lets get this case issue sorted so I can order! :D

if the NZXT H440 will fit all my components and provide sufficient cooling then ill just go with this, just need the go ahead from you that it will as im assuming you know far more than me, and if it wont provide sufficient cooling ill go with the corsair as honestly i guess its just a case! :)

sweet thats exactly what I wanted to hear thank you stu! and maxing out sounds perfect for my needs, just means can look into higher res when I sort a better monitor out, ohh just as a side note question is there any point me buying all the extra fans to fill the nzxt case or are the stock fans good enough with my components? :)

got declined on the 12 month finance, so just gonna pay it all off at the start, wanted to pay like 1500 off and pay the other 300 off later on but its no biggie ill just pay the lot together it makes it easier anyway as dont have to worry about the extra £29 admin fee! :)

stu probably not the right place to ask all this but as i say ive been out of the game a long time.. could you suggest some good programs these days..

Best free antivirus around these days?
best spyware/adware and all that too?
erm monitoring software like im assuming i may aswell download cpu-Z and speedfan maybe? or is there better ones?

ORDER PLACED! ;) just to wait for delivery, I was going to get them to build it but cba waiting days for a response to an email so ill just stop being lazy and do it myself! :)

highly unimpressed like hah I should have just ordered the pieces that were in the weekly deal and ordered the rest later, I ordered then like an hour later they put the RAM £10 down in the weekly deal, and the monitor down £20 in the weekly deal bummer.. wonder if maybe they'll let me order something else taking that £30 off the price of it maybe lol..

Stu if i could get that £30 off something else would it be worth adding another 16GB of ram? and would it just go straight into the other 2 ram slots on this board, even with there already being 2 in and those being dual channel? sorry for the nooby question! :)

never mind ill take back those last two statements OCUK refunded me the £30 difference since it was within like 30 minutes of the new weekly deal coming! what a company had no obligation to do it and did it anyway!

Stulid i know its a bit late now but would these not of been better than the processor mobo and ram i chose? and have more longetivity and better OC potential or am I better off with what I have?

if these are better ide considering sending the parts I purchased in my order back and reordering these for the £100 difference would it be worth doing or should I just stick with what I have as I believe its getting delivered today between 12-1! let me know what you think asap or anybody else here give me an opinion please! :)

I won't open them until very late on tonight so ill await a reply in the mean time!

ah sweet ill just stick with this for now be more than good enough, overclock when needed and maybe when its about 2and a half years down the line and that free gigabyte board is nearing the end of being able to be used ill just upgrade it to the latest board with some ddr4 and possibly update the cpu and either resell the old components or put them in a secondary machine, for when my friend comes round :)
