Not tried this yet, but can you activate the star power the old way and using the button or button only?

You can do it both ways, but tbh I have had a little trouble with the tilt thing on the WT guitar, it has been hard to initiate sometimes but I always play Rockband so maybe down to that.

Just got an RMA number for one, wouldn't accept my serial number, I can't make out the last but one number but pretty sure it was a 0.

Ended 07 if I read it right which it wouldn't accept so I tried 08 and it worked lol

Hmm, have had no email from them, says complete but no tracking number.

Did anyone else get a tracking number and an email?

I've had 2 through and that is all it says, no emails or anything. My first one appeared the next day and the second one took about 3 days so nothing to worry about mate.

Cool, mine has a habit of dropping notes now and again which is rather annoying when trying to 100% songs!

Still good enough as a spare though

After playing with this WT guitar for abit I'm not convinced it's as good as either the explorer or the les paul.
Though I haven't actually tried it with WT, as I haven't got round to buying that yet. Any one else feel the same?

Nothing beats the explorer. But it is free

I prefer the WT guitar, the strum bar is easier to press up/down fast for fast sections and I find the buttons easier to press. The larger size and weight of the guitar make it steadier to use as well.

Recieved today, 4 days from putting an RMA in to recieving the guitar, can't fault that at all!

Edit: Just realised, 2 of those days were weekend and one was a bank holiday!

Bah mine was attempted delivery yesterday at 7.40 am

Had it redelivered for tomorrow, 7:30 - 19:30 though

In terms of reliability i'm yet to find a reliable xbox 360 guitar controller that works with all the guitar hero games. My original xplorer had a rubbish whammy bar and double strummed for no reason, the Les Paul had a dodgy neck that wouldn't always detect the orange button and the GH:WT guitar, the strummer is incredibly squeaky and whammy is in an awkward position but seems a lot more rugged than the previous efforts. Maybe i'm just fussy lol

I don't have any issues with the original Rock Band guitar though well except it doesn't work on GH2 + 3

I'm still thinking redoctane should re-release the original SG controller as that one was perfect
