New Hitman game

I could see the episodic delivery putting a lot of people off getting involved early on, choosing to get the final complete collection instead. So it's not beyond the realms of possibility that the game is abandoned a couple of episodes in, if sales are poor enough.

I hope not though. Periodically released small to mid-sized assassination sandboxes would be perfectly okay with me!
 
I really enjoyed Absolution, checked and i spent a lot of hours, getting all achievements so much have liked it. However i wasn't engaged in the story that much really, i preferred Blood Money, here is a target, go get em model. if they released a big level episodically, which had several targets and more of a level sandbox like Blood Money was, that could work nicely.
 
I had never played Hitman before Absolution, the other half bought me a copy that came with a mini-figure too....

Think i enjoyed the game to be fair, but obviously had not played the previous ones, so can't compare.

I'll probably pick this new one up when a good price comes up.
 
I want to be excited - I've loved Hitman ever since the first one came out 15 years ago - but this one looks a bit clunky, old-fashioned and unpolished. The animation, movement and AI I've seen in previews so far has disappointed me; these used to be clever, detail-driven games but it seems like they've done nothing to push that forward this time.
 
After the crushing disappointment of Absolution this sounds great. Much bigger maps and sounds like similar freedom to Blood Money which would be amazing. Also it has a save function! Hallelujah.

Both trailers I’ve seen are brilliant. I want to love this. Please let it be true.

I really hope this is a return to form as well. Blood Money was brilliant. They went totally backwards with Absolution and Absolution had the most awful and bizarre save game mechanic in any game ever ( and Blood Money had one of the best!). You really wonder what goes on in design meetings for sequels - " you know all that stuff we came up with that made the last game great?"-"lets chuck it all in the bin and replace it with these terrible ideas instead".

will not even think about this until its a complete game for sale . really enjoyed every other hitman game over the years & thought absolution was great but I really do not like how this one is being marketed and released
