VR is still rather expensive for what it is, and only useful in certain types of games. I don't think it's the future, not yet.

Intel are developing discrete GPUs.

They are also putting money into the IGP too as I read the next iteration is to compete directly with AMD APU's as in the 2400G which just about matches the GPU in it so they are getting closer in the IGP stake too.

From what I'm seeing there it looks like a chiplet approach with GPUs .. Maybe I'm reading it all wrong though
