expensive yes, but define too expensive, the ipod has always been a top end product. I think it'll probably be £300+ at the very least...

Yes, it could be around £399 for the top model - but that would be the higher end of the range. - I am hoping for around £349/£299, this is within my reach:)
 
Too expensive is £300+ imo.If its £250 its more justifiable,hoping it will be £200 but will never gonna happen on launch day.
If the touch has wifi,internet browser,etc then £300 isn't too bad but when you consider its just a mp4 player its not really worth it but different people class too expensive differently. Being an 18yr old about to go Uni I think £300+ is too expensive for a mp4player.

This was a project I did at college nearly 2 years ago now. I have wanted one since.
 
If it comes down to iPod touch Vs. iPhone (assuming they release) which will you all get?

Personally I'd love an iPhone but I'd rather the new iPod so I don't have to buy my way out of a phone contract to get it :)

Why not? The US stores will have them now I assume? I thought in general apple sold their products the moment they are announced? (thats assuming they are released in the UK)
 
Just had my bonus from work, mwhahahahha :)

I can feel a trip to "Apple Store" in London coming on!

I always said to myself im going to get the next iPod.

Im still using my iPod 20GB 3G model. Its, in my opinion, the best iPod.

Also got a shuffle.

EDIT- I want to get the largest model so i cant put the highest bit rate music on it.

There’s an iMac on stage, which means there’s going to be at least something going on with software. Whether it’s just a demo of the new features on iTunes to sync to the new iPod, we’re not sure. Maybe it’s something even cooler.
