Rubbish. Absolute tosh.

The PS5 and next Xbox will indeed be impressive given they are just consoles, most estimates are somewhere between a 2070 and a 2080, which is quite good. But to suggest it'll beat a 2080 is nonsense, beating a 2080ti is insanity.

Also bear in mind that releasing a console that's roughly equivalent to a 2080 in the year 2020 will mean consoles in the year 2027 will still be using the graphics power we're all used to today. In fact, by the time the next gen consoles are out the RTX 3000 series will be out.

Anyway, I got hugely off topic. Getting back on topic, anyone got any idea when this monitor is back in stock? Or is there anything else that's recently released (or is releasing in the next 3 months) that is of a similar capability and price point? Thanks!

Just got one myself (£400 from MM - practically brand new), it's a nice bit of equipment but haven't had a chance to test Freesync for the first time .

According to checks done by Rtings.com (https://www.rtings.com/monitor/disc...-with-wider-color-gamut-than-the-lg-27gl850-b) these are the same panels as the cheaper 27GL83-A which sell, when in stock, for a fair bit cheaper than what OcUK is asking for.
