New lid - graphics or plain? Matt or shiny?

That's nice. I looked at the Nexx XR2 Carbon before I pulled the trigger on the Spartan but I didn't know enough about Nexx lids so wasn't sure about purchasing. They seem pretty decent though.

I noticed helmet have gotten cheaper since last time, I think I paid about £230 for what I could now get or about £100 less. Even the Arai helmets are no where near what they used to be.

That's not a complaint obviously!

That looks like Revzilla's Brian!

I've currently got this one:

Will probably still use it for commutes, but fancy a 'Sunday best' helmet and was looking at two:

https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/382665 - Love the design, not too flashy, but lovely colours

Or

https://www.getgeared.co.uk/shoei-ryd-helmet-orange - because my bike's orange and it'd be a nice colour match :p

Both highly rated by most reviewers, and both highly rated by Sharp / Snell

They also do a shark one very similar to what I currently have.

Took this helmet out for a spin last night about 75 miles.

Pretty pleased with it, came with a pinlock visor I didn't even realise. Feels good, I like the peripheral vision thing it's not just a gimic it does help.

If I had a critism it's a lot noisier than my previous shark helmet.
