**** the most wanted races are rage makers.

Rubber banding is terrible. Can't beat the Hennessey POS for pure BS. It spawned the damn thing in my path after an accident, I got smashed he sped off at a billion mph.

The rubber banding in this game is God awful, it's actually a fun game to play online though, I still prefer Paradise mind, that game was perfect in every way. :(
 
awesome, really getting into this game but some of the milestones are crazy, 10 hours in a car lol, just imagine someone getting that milestone for all cars
 
Is anybody still playing this on PS3? I deleted my saves thinking they were stored into the cloud but they weren't, and now I've had to start from the beginning again, no idea why I deleted my saves in the first place. Derp moment probably. :D

If anybody wants to play some multiplayer then just let me know, looking for people to just do some races or random events with. :)
 
I just picked this up on 360 for my son to play. What a broken load of mess it is. The sound skips and jumps causing the game to freeze on and off. And how much in your face DLC is there nearly every car you are prompted to buy. constant almost begging about addons and extra parts of the city. DLC should be in addition if wanted not constantly slammed in your face.

EA really are awful.

Yeah I got the game yesterday, I'm a bit slow getting new games for the ps3 as I do most of my gaming on pc.

I just got the game, don't really get the hype its just a quite good game not that great really.

Why do all the cars seem to perform exactly the same? They all feel identical to drive and they're all seemingly restricted to 150 mph? I think the fastest I've managed is 170 mph which is a bit odd when I'm driving masserati's and stuff.

The rubber banding is rubbish, I pass people in races for no reason then they pass me for no reason.

The game is decent but thats it. Burnout is much better...
 
Ok, I'm enjoying this game a lot more now, I see it as a bit of casual fun away from "serious" games like god of war :D

I have some questions I would like answered.

Whats the consequence of getting busted? It seems there is no penalty, do you lose sp as I haven't noticed and there is no indication you do?

Whats the point of the repair garages? I think if youre driving a beaten up car it performs exactly the same as a undamaged one? Or is there a bit of performance decrease, I haven't noticed though. Does driving through a garage and getting resprayed help when youre in a pursuit like grand theft auto games?

Why is every car hard to get over 150mph? I have very powerful cars in my collection like a lambo gallardo which I think should achieve 200mph+ with ease if I'm right...but it doesnt seem to want to go faster than 150mph...

The fastest I've driven is about 170mph...do I need to keep applying upgrades to get above that, its a bit odd though because irl these cars would do 200mph+ with ease.

How do I get new cars in multiplayer? I thought if I got a car in single player I could use it online but it doesn't seem to work like that. Do I have to do well in online races to unlock cars for online?

To get 200mph+ get out on the highways with nitrous. The first car I hit 200 MPH with was the McLaren MP4-12c and that was on a street.

Nothing really, sometimes can be easier just to get busted than lose the cops although you get reset back to the car's jackspot so it can put you miles from where you want to be.

Helps you lose the cops and fills up your nitrous so it's good to hit them during races if you can for a quick nitrous boost.

Multiplayer is slightly different, you unlock some cars simply by levelling but others you need to complete events in cars of a certain class. Say you're in an 'every day' car like a Fiesta and you complete 6 events, it will unlock the next car in that class. You don't need to win the events, just complete them so just join some online games and take part.
