Any chance they can make a game with no rubber banding catch up?
I'd love to play them but I can't stand that **** ****.

This. Utterly ruined the first MW for me. I'd be happy for something like Carbon but longer.

I'm not holding my breath though, the last few NFS games have just been dross on the Burnout engine, which doesn't really suit this type of game.

To me - the gamplay video makes it look terrible.

Can you be a bit more specific? Like, say what you actually dislike about it?

Just as bad as the last game + they've tried to combine it with burnout.

Which is the "last game"? NFS:Hot Pursuit from 2010 was awesome. Do you mean Shift 2? I've not played that, so can't say for sure.

NFS:HP was made by Criterion. It was awesome. Before that, Burnout Paradise was made by Criterion. It was awesome.

merging them together is a terrible idea!

If they can achieve proper open world inner city driving in the style of Burnout Paradise, with the police involvement, the physics, etc from Hot Pursuit, then it will be great.

For my part, my only complaint with the video is that the handling looks floaty. It's doing that thing that you see in some games where it looks like the car is steering at its centre of mass rather than at its wheels, so the car sort of glides around rather than actually turning.
