<~~~~(NEW NEED FOR SPEED MOST WANTED CONFIRMED)~~~~>

I had the same issue, wasn't sure whether to get it for PC or PS3, both would be on my monitor. In the end I decided to go with PS3 because I think the multiplayer will be much more active. I've read the activity on the PC for past NFS titles fizzles out pretty fast, but I think on the console it will last longer

I feel for all those wondering which system to get it on, you'd be best going for either the ps3 or x360 over pc especially when it comes to games like this. I don't game on the pc simply because mine is not powerful enough but for some reason I have this idea that most pc gamers are into 'FPS'. I dunno, my opinion after all. Maybe the stuff below will help you decide.

MINIMUM System Requirements:

OS: Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) 32-Bit
Processor: 2 GHz Dual Core (Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHZ or Althon X2 2.7 GHz)
Memory: 2 GB
Hard Drive: 20 GB
Graphics Card (AMD): DirectX 10.1 compatible with 512 MB RAM (ATI RADEON 3000, 4000, 5000 OR 6000 series, with ATI RADEON 3870 or higher performance)
Graphics Card (NVIDIA): DirectX 10.0 compatible with 512 MB RAM (NVIDIA GEFORCE 8, 9, 200, 300, 400 OR 500 series with NVIDIA GEFORCE 8800 GT or higher performance)
Sound card: DirectX compatible
Keyboard and Mouse
DVD ROM Drive

RECOMMENDED System Requirements:

OS: Windows 7 64-Bit
Processor: Quad-Core CPU
Memory: 4 GB
Hard Drive: 20 GB
Graphics Card: DirectX 11 compatible with 1024 MB RAM (NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 560 or ATI RADEON 6950)
Sound Card: DirectX compatible
Keyboard and Mouse
DVD ROM Drive

And finally for anyone getting a WII-U, don't fret as it has been announced for it too and will be out sometime in 2013.

This is a good point. The MP scene on Hot Pursuit on PC never even got off the ground. For playing against randomers there will be far more people on consoles.

Both my PS3 and my PC are connected to my Dell U2312HM.

Compared to most other console games it looks great, so if you've played many other console games through the monitor and didn't mind the quality difference between the PC and the console version then I'd probably recommend the console version. As other posters have stated, the online community will more than likely be much bigger than the PC community going off the previous game. Unless multiplayer isn't your thing, though be aware it's a big part of this game.

The fact that multiplayer is so ingrained into the single player means you need to take the MP into consideration even if you never go online.

Exactly.

Really can't wait for this weekend - the Mrs is in work so I've got the weekend to myself with this, lots of junk food, and my Driving Force GT.

I love using a racing wheel on arcade racers just as much as sims - using it on Motorstorm Apocalypse was an absolute blast.

Tempted to buy this on PS3 primarily so I can irritate Skeeter online. But my concern is that my PS3 is just not going to be able to provide the sort of graphical smooth lovelyness my PC would. What do we reckon? Will the PC version have noticeable superior graphics?

Pc should look miles better than console if you have a decent pc , i have a decent enough pc but game on ps3 nearly all the time because a couple of my friends only have ps3 .

Interesting that i would only use my wheel on a game like gt5 .

I'm getting a bit worried now, I've been reading and I can't find confirmation that my DFGT works on this - someone has posted on some other forums that their ThrustMaster T500 didn't work. I can't find anyone who has tested it with a Logitech wheel though.

Most past NFS titles have been supported, but Hot Pursuit took a month or so to get patched in... Hope it works from day 1, even if it's just basic support.

Definitely getting this i think, i loved the first NFS MW game and have been waiting for yonks for EA to release another MW game.

Took their time but thank god they finally have.

After reading about all the frame rate issues on the PC I have ordered this for the PS3. This is meant to be Burnout paradise with real cars which to me is perfect.

Getting on Friday, it's getting good reviews from what I've seen so far!

Need a list of 360 and PSN id's for people playing.
