<~~~~(NEW NEED FOR SPEED MOST WANTED CONFIRMED)~~~~>

Apparently the day 1 patch fixed it so Logitech wheels are supported. Awesome!

And yeah, everyone feel free to add me, PSN: Neil_J_UK - I'll go through and add people on this thread later today/tomorrow when I'm on the PS.

Yeah, picking this up on Fri, decided not to get AC3 in the end! My PSN is Lomaso, feel free to add me with a message you are from OCUK and I will add you! Hopefully get on PS3 later to add a few of you guys after work tonight!

Make sure that if you're getting this game, you're actually going online, cause it's completely built around multiplayer gaming. Not that I'm saying none of you knew that already.

Any 360 players getting this ??

Seems to be a lot more PS3.

Yeah I noticed this too. I think a casual racer with a heavy reliance on an online connection is more appealing to the free PSN network than the subscription based XBL. Owning both consoles, I must say I never even considered getting this on Xbox as I dont have a Live sub and wouldnt buy one just for this game.

Also it has some pretty strong competition in Forza Horizon at the moment.

I'm resisting strong urges to pre order this... I get paid on Friday as well so I may find myself popping into a 24 hour supermarket when my shift ends Friday morning. :p

Got it this morning, really not all that impressed the handling just feels random, drift all the time it seems and the frame rate is very sketchy. Seems practically impossible to escape the cops as well.

So far would say Horizon is way ahead of this game in every area.

Shame to hear some negative vibe about this game. I wonder how much Criterion are actually holding back in favour of a proper Burnout Paradise sequel, which certainly must be on the cards eventually ?

I would assume EA have some sort of hold over the devs at Criterion to release x amount of NFS games, and then when this is lifted we might see a proper Burnout again ?

You can see this difference purely in the handling of Criterion developed NFS games, the handling in Hot Pursuit was certainly a long way of the feel of a Burnout game. I got used to it, eventually, but still prefer the less weighty and loose feel of Burnout.
