Well done referees on the blatent fumble inside the giants 20 inside the 2 minute warning.
The refs made the right call based on the rules...
I have to be honest, I didn't think either of the two teams in the NFC Championship game were in the top two, but they've both been playing great D and often that can be enough if you get a few breaks.
Last night the breaks went against the 49ers for a change and they just don't have the offence to overcome such errors.
It was a shame that both games were decided by one persons error, but still, both amazing games and both went to the team I thought would win.
I also think this gives us the best possible Superbowl. Either team can score points in short periods of time, so the result will likely be undecided until late in the game.
Guarenteed if the ref hadn't blown it so fast which they usually don't it would have been a fumble and never overturned, literally as the guy was stopped he fumbled it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I like the rule, but he was moving backwards when the ball actually came out, the whistle had been blown due to this. This was verified as the correct call by Mike Pereira.
Last week the 49ers had all these breaks and more go their way and they barely scraped through. Granted, you make your own breaks, but that then means they made their own mistakes yesterday...
But neither of William's turnovers were luck, you do realise that?
Hoping for a Pats win. Always had a soft spot for them as well as an unreasonable hatred of all things Giants
