New NFL Season 2011

Oh deary me! :D

Giants win.

Well done referees on the blatent fumble inside the giants 20 inside the 2 minute warning.

The refs made the right call based on the rules...

I have to be honest, I didn't think either of the two teams in the NFC Championship game were in the top two, but they've both been playing great D and often that can be enough if you get a few breaks.

Last night the breaks went against the 49ers for a change and they just don't have the offence to overcome such errors.

It was a shame that both games were decided by one persons error, but still, both amazing games and both went to the team I thought would win.

I also think this gives us the best possible Superbowl. Either team can score points in short periods of time, so the result will likely be undecided until late in the game.

49ers made four huge mistakes.

Two very very easy picks from manning were missed due to collisions.

Kyle Williams twice.

Guarenteed if the ref hadn't blown it so fast which they usually don't it would have been a fumble and never overturned, literally as the guy was stopped he fumbled it.

YESSSS GIANTS!!!!! another superbowl meeting with the Pats....damn after the season we have had, i didnt think we would make it this far but just like a few yrs ago we are on our way to the Superbowl. Hopefully make it our 4th Superbowl win.

Absolutely chuffed that we have made it through to the Superbowl...unlucky 49er's...just wasnt meant to be guys:p:D

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I like the rule, but he was moving backwards when the ball actually came out, the whistle had been blown due to this. This was verified as the correct call by Mike Pereira.

Last week the 49ers had all these breaks and more go their way and they barely scraped through. Granted, you make your own breaks, but that then means they made their own mistakes yesterday...

You cannot compare any luck we had last week to the luck the Giant's got last night, particularly from our lack of picks and Kyle Williams twice, he scored 10 points for them, it was criminal.

I genuinely thought I didn't mind if we would go out in this championship game, but it couldn't have happened in a worse manner, both Harbaugh's screwed equally by their special teams.

The one where it hit his knee was not luck at all, I don't know what he thought he was doing. His fumble, he didn't have it secured properly when the hand came in, at that point in the game, ball security needs to have been his number one thought.

This is why I called them 'breaks'. Last week the 49ers got the breaks, this week they went against them. They are things you wouldn't normally expect someone to do, they make a real bad play or do something rather stupid you wouldn't normally expect them to do.

Hoping for a Pats win. Always had a soft spot for them as well as an unreasonable hatred of all things Giants :p:D

Dont know how anyone could have a soft spot for them after what Bellicheck did a few yrs ago ie the spygate controversy.

I have a bet with my bro in Canada, hes got his money on the Pats and ive told him that its the Giants that will get the better of them...just like back in 2008;)...even after i told him put ur money on the Giants to win:p

Im looking forward to a good Superbowl as last time these 2 met it was pretty special seeing my team give the Pats a nice little defeat:p.

Anybody else won tickets to go to the Superbash in London for the Superbowl? Just received my email saying I've got two :)

went to the first one at ministry of sound hosted by richard blackwood, after paying through the nose for bottles and having ralph little shout out on sky tv (which is what was shown inside the superbash) "yeah, its great all the drinks are free", iv sort of had it with the events.

to be honest rather have a night out with my team mates and spend about £200 less on the exprience (once you inclued traveling, hotel and meals). but for anyone local to it cant blame them for going.

now on to the match, hopefully it will be a tight game and the giants will just edge it. and make brady cry again :p

well seems myself and the titans will be hitting footage in manchester.

should be fun, just hope they dont run out of beer.
