Just noticed a small bit of blue still left! That spoiler tag above - hover over it and I see a little blue arrow between the tag and the text that pops up. :)

Anyone using this code notice that it seems to be turning on/off by itself?

Code:
.userBanner {
    background-color: transparent !important;
}

When the grey background is showing on a newly loaded page or/and refresh of the current page, I go to my separate stylish for fairly sure... tweaks and hit edit, then save, it reapplies so that the background is transparent but I refresh the page, the lighter grey background is back again, rinse and repeat :confused:

It was working fine earlier on so I'm guessing that OCUK might be doing something in the background?

search buttons and red cicled links
will get you code to remove those red circled links now. the stuff i posted already removes a couple of them but i'll make one for you just for those links.

will then try sort out the search buttons. by removing some of the styling i've put will mess up the buttons else where

cheers will look to fix this as well as the spoiler button is still nasty

I've added a few of those and given credit, hope you don't mind! :)
of course not. i'm grateful for the work you've done as these forums are now a thing of beauty.

Cool, thanks :D

Also, I think the alert notification might be getting cut off (I have removed the header/logo), don't remember this happening before so not sure if it is down to the new code that changed some of the alert box stuff?

EDIT:

Just noticed this is a bit off too:

3DMddEz.png

I disabled both of my stylish themes, the only thing under there is the discussions and posts, there is no description for it like other forums/sub forums.

Code:
node .forumNodeInfo.unread .nodeIcon, .node .categoryForumNodeInfo.unread .nodeIcon {
    background-image: url('data:image/png;base64,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');
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: 0px;
    margin-top: -1px !important;
}

Adding the - margin moves it up inline with the main title but I won't add it as it makes it look off on the others to me.

thats because there is no sub heading Nexus, if you fix it for that it will make all the others off I reckon, but I'll have a look :)
Thought so, I just wondered if there was anything that could be done, which would only apply to that part :)

Thankfully it is only happening for that sub forum so not really that much of an issue.

Probably be easier just to tell the dons to add a description for that sub forum! :p

Thanks, I will leave it as it is too.

I've posted in the new forum thread to ask the dons to add a description for the sub forum so that should sort it without needing to tweak the user style and affect everything else :)

Just noticed that there is an alert box/pop up, which is still blue when in the dedicated reply window (when you click on "more options"), wasn't quick enough to get a screenshot though.

Got a screenshot of the alert notification getting cut off at the top of the forum though:

sXzXbX4.png

That is with the header/logo removed.

where does the alert notification usually show for you? for me is bottom left of my screen. i only changed the background colour not the positioning of the alert box, however i did edit the header if it's meant to be shown there?

the below should remove the red circled links you didn't want. i noticed the new posts link coming back for me once i've been on a page a while so assume this might come back from some jquery thing happening. i've changed the code from what i had before as i found it removed some links from the username drop down list too and this styling now only applies to the quick links at the top. there may be issues with this hiding the watched threads link as if it moves from 4th in list to say 3rd then it'll get hidden. from my testing that's not yet happened, though it does seem that without stylish applied when viewing a thread the quick links all disappear and become a drop down set of links. anyone else get this?

Code:
.forumsTabLinks ul.blockLinksList li:nth-child(1) {
    display: none !important;
}

.forumsTabLinks ul.blockLinksList li:nth-child(2) {
    display: none !important;
}

.forumsTabLinks ul.blockLinksList li:nth-child(3) {
    display: none !important;
}

.forumsTabLinks ul.blockLinksList li:nth-child(5) {
    display: none !important;
}

try this to hide the watch forum link. let me know of any issues

Code:
/* hides the watch forum link */

.SelectionCountContainer a:nth-child(2) {
    display: none !important;
}

Alert isn't cut off for me Nexus18 using the header remove code from my style:
Code:
/* Uncomment to hide logo and resize header */
#logoBlock{
    display:none;
}
#headerMover #headerProxy{
    height: 50px;
    margin-top: 20px !important;
}

When in the dedicated reply window (where you can see a preview of your post), the alert popup shows somewhere around the bottom left too, need someone to quote me to be able to get a screenshot of it.

And yes, it is the lack of header/border/margin or whatever :p that was cutting off the alert notification icon at the top of the forum, there is no border/margin where as with wiiija's header/no logo code, there is:

xvZrBir.png sXzXbX4.png

And all the rest of the code for removing those links is working great :cool: :D

Just trying out the dark theme (OcUK Forum - XEN - WIP)

Few things I added / changed

I re-enabled avatars but made them small & square (as they were all sorts of sizes)
Code:
.UserRankImages li {
    border: 1px solid #fff;
    width: 75px;
    height: 75px;
    margin: 0 auto;
}
Removed tahoma font from top items
Code:
.navTabs .navTab.selected .tabLinks
a,
.navTabs .navTab.selected
.navLink,
.navTabs .navLink, .navTabs
.SplitCtrl {
    font-family: verdana;
}
