I agree with this too. While the new site was working, I did have a play around with the filters and they do work very well. Yes, you don't get the product descriptions on the same page, but IMO that's no bad thing. Makes it far easier to find particular products.

My only complaint is the top navigation menu. I know they're the done thing these days (even thinking of doing one on my own site), but my hand/eye co-ordination is such that I have a habit of the mouse ending up over the menu. :(
 
Looking forward to seeing the new site, and Gibbo speaks the truth. A lot here are too quick to nitpick. Some people should embrace change. ;)

Hi there

Yeah but thats like a mechanic blaming his tools aint it but in reality its your own fault and as such you should buy yourself a nice new shiny mouse from OcUK. :D :p

My mouse *is* from OcUK, and it's perfectly fine I'll have you know. :p

It's not the tools in my case, it's me. Show me a mouse pointer and I'll guarantee I'll lose it (and yes, my monitor is from OcUK too :p). That's why I use the keyboard so much (rarely an option on a website). My eyesight isn't all that clever.

I'll happily point out any other accessibility issues I find (I'm somewhat good at that as both a user and a software developer). :)

Hi there

Yes but I can guarantee I can sell you a better mouse and monitor. Maybe a nice 24" panel or even 30" will do. ;)
 
It's been up once, but the site came to a halt due to problems/high load of everyone looking around. Not sure when it will be back up....I would have thought they will put it back up at a quieter time.
