New OcUK Website

I think I like it, the old one did need bringing up to the 90's :p

grumbles so far would be it needs a 'view all' link; if a section has 70 items, instead of going through all of the pages, i'd like them all on one page - like the old way - makes it much easier and quicker to get to things

i think the 'amazing deals' image was a bit of an 'easy way out' and should have had the title of each section in there, instead of a graphic - or a graphic image of what your looking at "oh where am i again, yea, the amazing deals section"

the colums of products should default to 'sort by name' its early and i just worked out why i couldnt find an asrock mobo :o

while i can appreciate the work gone in to the new site, those little things would be cool for me, maybe not for everybody, well done on the new site :D

thats enough for now :p

I do actually kind of like it. A few points:
-The "Amazing Deals" bit at the top of each page is pointless and ridiculous, someone has already said it feels a bit patronising and I have to agree

-On the old site it was nice to be able to see the details of an item without clicking on it, and also a larger picture.

I like the new shopping basket on the right hand side though, it's much much quicker to add and remove stuff now

Is it me or does it model itsself of a certain competitior. like it though, especially the drop down menus.

Thats what i was thinking, thought i had clicked the wrong bookmark for a minute

Just noticed the review option, very good that you can get user opinions before you buy :D

personally i liked the old layout as it was nice to see a big picture of the item and a description by the side, it looks as if ocuk has gone the way of their competitors with using the same layout and lists, as said it would be nice to see a view all item when their are lots of products, other than that thumbs up from me

Much better than the old one. :)

Apart from Efour2s' comment, which i agree with, those close ups are pants. :(

I like it :D

Just giving my thumbs up for the site.

Much more professional than the old one. :)

arghhhhh!!!! one thing i loved about the OC website was all the nice picture icons where you could browse, just made it a bit more interesting to look at the website... now it just looks too much like No competitor talk please! and places like that... call me simple but hey!

wibble.. no mention of competitors allowed.....

please don't quote them either ;)

It does look like the combination of 3 other hardware e-tailer websites (I shan't mention names). I also would like higher-res pictures in the enlarged images but it's nice to see you've kept the informative detailed product descriptions. I also think the proper breadcrumbing and filtering are a definite improvement. Overall, a thumb-up here, I just think it looks a bit generic now

Sorry to say, but I can't believe you killed the OcUK website. It was so much easier to use before and user friendly. Its still easy to use but it looks complicated. It puts me off using the website now. Bring back the old website!!!

I must emit i prefer the older design as well.

The old design was very clear and very informative. You could look down a list of items and have descriptions of each item, then make your mind up. The picture gave you a very good idea on what you were actually buying.

Now the site looks very generic and looks like everyone elses e-tailer shop - easily forgetable. At first it looks very confusing. Maybe the old site could have done with a update but nothing major - i feel.

The stock levels, accounts and reviews section are the only new things I like, but they could have been added to the old design?

ps. "Amazing deals" needs to go - its in the way of the things you want to buy.

I like it. Looks nice and easier to find specific products instead i.e. DDR2 6400 memory instead of going through every brand :).

I can finally browse faster :D
