New OcUK Website

I've always liked the functionality of the ocuk website, by far the easiest around to navigate, just needs a little graphical update imo, plus individual product pages to make linking to things easier and to give more detailed product info.

I wait with interest... :)

Edit: Will there be a place to sign up for the newsletter?
I can't find anywhere to do that on the current website... need to subscribe a new email account to it.

Yep, and unlike the winner we don't spend a penny with them.

HI there

Yes very true.

Just like car magazines if certain X manufacturer is putting lots of advertising business their way then they tend to regard that manufacturer highly and they will often win reviews. So it really does make you think if the results are truly genuine. ;)

Aye, theres something about it that just seems dated, probably due to the difficulty in navigating the sections.
Surpraised you said that. I find it's the easiest site to navigate out of all the pc retailers in my bookmarks. Clean, clear with no crappy ads occupying your screen.

Apparantly this was a reader's vote, so unless some actual fiddling was going on at CPC then they had no direct input. However I do realise that there is a lot of the winner's advertising in the mag, especially the back cover.

Bit of a nervy thing really. As it stands my mom was recently able to navigate the OcUK page whilst I was on the phone to her. She needed little guidance, which believe me for my mother is rare. Having her look over a competitors site proved to be quite a task.
Have to say though a more comprehensive search and definately an account login/stored details etc would be much better.
