I've not checked in on this for a while I got fed up of the hackers/server jumpers & decided to wait for the standalone, is the game still plagued with these issues?

You need a private hive server with active admins.

details are on the first page. Hacker's aren't too frequent and are dealt with extremely quickly.

Antibiotics is the only was to get rid of that cough, however I found tem to be rare in game. Military Hospital tents usually have them if you are lucky.
Hey ToeJam can you check your logs for two guys |||||| and |||||||, seriously dodgy play. Killed our squad, fair play they were in the open but I was behind a wall in a building and they said it was " FLANKING ". Yet I saw no one! Second time it happened I was laying down behind a large wall on the edge of cherno and they said it was " LAG ".
If however logs come up clean, fair play to them they got me fair and square
EDIT : They were both on the center tower buildings in Cherno

i am very interested to play this, is there any servers where everyone just doesnt kill you on sight, im more into exploring and teamplay etc if such a thing occurs?
DANS UK3 is the only server I've been on where the majority are friendly. But then it's fairly empty most of the time, you'll regularly play with less than 10 people on the server.
I'd recommend finding a friendly group to join that don't focus on PVP. The danger of bandits is all part of the fun and adds an essential dimension to the game. I'm constantly on edge when I play which is what makes it so addictive.
tbh if its busy then there will be pvp shoot on sight anyone who says join there server because its not like that is lying.
only places where are not like that are specific no pvp allowed which kinda defeats the whole purpose of the game

Scanning the logs now. I banned three people last night while you were on for spawning in M136 launchers. I'm pretty sure they don't spawn in Overwatch and I checked ALL of the logs from the past week and the only people to spawn them in have been admins (they spawn in our box that we use to give gear back or use for admin events) and another skiddie I banned.
In the history of watching players, people with the name IIIIII and IIIIIIII - three times I've come across these before and everytime they've been cheating in some way, I don't know why I remember their names.
My guess is if they are cheating, they're using an external ESP and it'll require us to spectate. So I'll do that next time they're on.
It'll take a while to scan the logs though, I'll post if I find something.

Dans UK1 is heavy on PVP because of the donator perks and it's always busy. UK3 is dead most of the time and the regulars are mostly friendly from recent experience.
I've never seen arrows or started coughing after getting hit either, so all sounds new to me. Are you playing as a lone wolf? We should team up, I try to carry a blood bag with me at all times, and have some stashed away too! I've got sick before and my friend has travelled miles into Cherno to get me some meds and come back to save my life.
depends what you are playing in some of the mods the zombies arnt like the upto date vanilla dayz and you get attacked a lot and infected a lot.
vanilla is harder now than any of the other mods due to this and zombies. they wanted to put the fear of zombie back into the game as basically you just laughed at them .
now they knock you straight over or you get infected so easily in vanilla that you really have to work out your strategy a lot different.

The zombies in DayZ will never strike fear cause they move like complete idiots, no matter how much you make them one hit knockout they will always be laughable.
Yeah its vanilla servers I play on, i like the z's to be harder the only problem is that you get infected so easily, other day I was hold up in a barracks and a z clipped through the wall hit me, infected me then clipped out again, cheating ****
Anyhoo I think I just need to make sure I get antibiotics before I head north and the problem will go away
