Fort Bragg is a huge Militray base and turns over 1000's of squaddies a year, at any given time it houses upto 50k personnel. Pretty much any ex US Soldier has been through Fort Bragg at some point in their career.

What they should say is that these people most likely got messed up with PTSD from being in the military but they do not want to narrate that as war contracts are big business in the states.

So there saying the main attacker was a lone wolf on New Orleans and both are not connected.
It seems both are lone wolf but for totally different reasons seems one is obviously very anti trump.
For someone military minded (especially as he special forces) though you got to be stupid to use a Cybertruck to do your car bomb attack.
