If I were to purchase the system in the next month I wouldn't have a monitor until September then

Could buy one and then sell and upgrade to the Acer I guess.

Could use steam streaming, just set up a cheap rig by your pc

well, i mean, monitors give a better picture and response time etc (afaik) but i suppose people play console games on the TV every day
