have a look at the actuall motherboard connectors, the little plastic pin holder thingys with have PWR+ and PWR-

I had the pin ! instead of _....Sorry for the poor explanation but it is now working lol

Just so i dont have to start a new thread whats the best program to check the cpu is all ok etc...same for gfx.

cpu-z will show all the info

gpu-z will do the same for the graphics.

as for testing them then anything? pi-fast, 3dmark, cinbench, furmark

Ah, never mind - so long as its working now.

For checking your CPU, you will want CPU-Z and coretemp or realtemp. To stress test it Prime95 is the old favourite, but Intel Burn Test is the new king.

For the GPU, I like GPU-Z for info and Furmark for stress testing.

You will want to have a look at this.

M3A78-T – 0023 Mod Bios – SUCCESS!!

No sign of the VM version of the board, but I imagine it will work fine like this one.

Edit: please ignore this, the VM version does not have the correct southbridge for unlocking.

Look for Advance clock calibration in the bios.

cant, wrong southbridge, im pretty sure it needs to be 710 not 700

Guys i have just tried to take the motherboard out of my case to put in another and ive taken most of the screws out and the others just wont, It seems there stuck in the stand off because when you try to unscrew it goes round then just clicks. Any ideas?

You may want to try holding the stand-off with some pliers (needlenose preferably) and then unscrewing it.

Be careful not to catch the board with the pliers.

Sorry, I meant unscrewing the screw from the stand-off while you hold the stand-off with pliers (to prevent it from spinning around).
