Yeah apparently it was ****ing it down yesterday and monday so got lucky with the day.

The 3 torchbearers from our company stayed behind after they ran around the office, so I managed to get lots of pics with the torch. Oh and Wenlock the mascotWell it's a Blackberry building, perhaps not a HQ. It's at the junction just before the train-station, nr the High Street! It was pretty farcical, actually... the torch coverage cut-out for Egham itself, with all the thousands of people there, but they of course restored it for the corporate sponsorsI thought the whole thing was a load of b*llocks, personally. We had about 5 advertisement floats go past, telling us to 'drink Coca Cola' and 'bank with Barclays', and then the torch-guy legged it through pretty quick carrying what looked like a bit of industrial piping with a match on the end. The Olympics is a load of hype.
There's quite a few Egham people on here then? We should have a drinks meet. I'll bring the Ribena.
I'm not an Egham person but yeah I think there are quite a few people here from Surrey
