Maybe I'm being blind but I cannot find the big blue "NEW" button on the homepage that Gibbo mentioned, could somebody just draw a ring around it for me or something please lol:

Hi,

Apologies but that button has been removed on the website revamp. As much as we moaned about it the button has not returned.

Edit: Nick has found a link below

So I don't have the privileges to post my own thread on the topic, but I just wanted to give a little feedback that needs to be heard:

I've been over at HotUKDeals championing this Ryzen 2600 Promo Bundle (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/amd-...-team-group-ram-free-240gb-ssd-bu-01f-am.html) and assuming that OCUK wouldn't bundle a CPU with a motherboard that is potentially incompatible without a boot-kit CPU from AMD (r5 2600 w/ X370), thinking that either the boards were either new revisions with guaranteed Ryzen 2000 series compatible stickers and bios, or updated before going out. One of the posters over there decided to investigate for themselves and spoke with an OCUK rep about compatibility guarantees and reported back the following:

"However OCUK threw a complete blinder, as won't guarantee that the motherboard will support the CPU without a BIOS update, and they cannot perform the update as they are "too busy" this is simply a bundle offer, and if you require a compatible CPU to upgrade the BIOS, I was advised to contact AMD and they will send out a free bootkit, which includes a CPU to allow the BIOS update. Then they tried to offer an X470 at extra cost, as this would mean it would work out of the box, sheesh ..."

This is just disappointing frankly. Why even offer the bundle if you're not going to ensure that the parts are compatible out of the box? Just offer an x470 board from the start. I had put my faith in OCUK being a company which looks out for its customers and provides an above and beyond level of service, which has generally been my experience. This is a sad realisation.

(*note - I have an x370 build, upgraded from r5 1600x to 2700x, so I'm not purchasing and don't need technical help - just giving feedback on what I consider a let down from a company that I thought was better than this kind of practice, that will potentially impact on my future recommendations of hardware for the multiple sources where I contribute.)

Hello BenJames84,

OCUK cannot take the blame for this, they asked us at GIGABYTE to make sure the BIOS that shipped on the boards we supplied was a version which would support those CPU's.. We checked with our own staff to make sure the stock we had were already pre-loaded with the correct BIOS.
There was an error and the wrong stock was shipped to OCUK by us, we are fixing this by sending our staff to the OCUK offices tomorrow to flash all the boards and fix this problem. If you are a customer that has had one of these bundles shipped to you already, please contact us at [email protected] and I will arrange to pick up the motherboard, flash it and then ship it back to you at our cost ASAP.

Sorry to hijack topic (wasn't able to PM him direclty ), GIGA-MAN i'm having issues with my z370 hd3 and nvme 960 - it boots slow and i've tried the drive in another Motherboard where it works fine ( Friends board, exact same ) can you help? don't want to be without the mobo Thanks,

Hello Faceman,

Can you e-mail me the details to [email protected] and I will get this looked into for you. When you say you tried your friends board and it was exactly the same. Do you mean your friend also has a GIGABYTE Z370 HD3 and there is no issue with that board?

E-mail me back and I will get it looked into.

I've been looking for singularity computer reservoirs and mounts and I contacted them and they said that you were in contact with them and then stopped talking to them. are you going to stock them soon?

Hi,

I believe we are still talking to them about sorting the products. It could still be a while before they are listed online.

I spoke just recently with Daniel who owns Singularity Computers and he said that overclockers had stopped talking and had no contact recently, please pick u-p talks and get SC gear soon.
