Must be true if its on a news site then. ;).

well they review the games independently ?

sorry but i take there opinion over yours , you obviously havent played many psp games or just arent a fan of it for whatever reason , theres lots of top games.

games dont need to be gimmicky to be good

if it was a failure then support for it would have died off instead of gotten stronger

He probably just cant come to terms with the fact that every single ds game only has a maximum of 3 colours, with cartoon graphics and child themes! :p

You obviously haven't played any DS games. :p

I don't see why people can side with one of these consoles over the other. They obviously have similarites but both are entirely different. The PSP is an amazing multimedia device and XMB is great, it has a great lineup of games to come this year and it does so many things for its price. The DS has a huge amount of games and it is great for small pick up and play sessions.

Both are pretty cheap so buy both, I held out on the PSP because I was waiting for the inevitable redesign this year. I will probably buy a black one with MG:PO, Lumines and Ratchet. I don't like the silver one because of the glitter effect on it and the Star Wars one doesn't appeal to me much. Are these models out in the UK at the same time as the USA?

This is what my DS is used for. I've never been one to sit playing a handheld for a long length of time (except for Pheonix Wright), and that is where my problem with the PSP mainly stems from. Whenever I'm playing it I think, id rather be playing this on my PS2.

I understand your point but its main aim is portability, as such a PS2 & TV arent likely to be on the train with you, so its definitely a good option. There are also a hell of a lot of puzzley portable-type games available aswell. :)
