New Shiny GPU's Coming Soon - Ordering Process to guarantee highest queue position

Hi there

So its no secret new stuff is incoming, though I cannot discuss these or there existence, I want to give a guide as to the best ordering process as in what payment method to use, shipping method etc to guarantee the highest position in queue and us receiving your order in the quickest possible time from the payment processor.

As such anyone wishing to buy / pre-order new hottest in high demand items should use this process:

- Checkout using OcUK and pay ONLY via a debit or credit card within the OcUK checkout
- If you pay using Amazon or Paypal this will delay your order, as they take longer to process and then send us the order, even if it was just two minutes that could slip you down the queue considerably, in the case of the 3080 launch Amazon never processed some orders and it took them 48hr to notify customers. As such AVOID using Amazon or Paypal.
- Avoid finance at all cost, it can delay things considerably and thus impacting queue position negatively.
- Select DPD Next Day, in theory selecting Saturday DPD or Royal Mail should not cause any problems, for ease DPD next day is the most common option.

Good luck and to summarise pay with a debit/credit card within OcUK checkout and select DPD next day, this is the fastest way of getting the order to ourselves and getting you higher in the queue. :)

Maybe Nvidia will make your life easier by limiting 5090 to founders edition (and not available at retailers) and only allowing system builders to include them in pre-built's?

They used to do this with the Titan range. 5090 is likely to be Titan level price wise from rumours!

If they can give us a few thousand for SI use we'd be happy with this also. :)

It'll be fun times if stock is tight enough that people will have to buy a new system to get a 5090 out of it :D
I hope that doesn't happen
I've put together a new system myself (still waiting for a few things to arrive from here, in addition to the 5090 releasing), so having to buy a pre built would be a real downer.

What's coming now? With the ridiculous prices of gpu's I haven't had much interest in the gossip surrounding upcoming releases so is this the more than likely stupidly priced 5090 that comes with a "free" nuclear reactor to power it or is AMD bringing something new to the table?
5090 of course. Queues are going to be insane regardless, because Nvidia. Its the new Apple launch.

I'll be getting my usual Inno3d this time around.
For some reason they're my favourite brand. I think the 5090 will cost around £1799 for the cheaper models and up to £2500 for the Asus Rogs. Anyone else think the same?

So a reduction in price then? The titan eas 800 quid when it first came out I'm sure it was. Not 2.5k lmao

Thank you for the information!

I am really looking forward to the new AMD stuff. :D

My 7900XTX that I bought from you guys in Feb 2023 needs a friend.

I've been thinking of giving PNY a shot this time around but realistically I'll probably just grab whatever seems best value, I loved the design of the strix 4090 I had but I got it at a very good price

I'm hoping there will be Gainward 5090 cards day one this time, there wasn't for the 4090. Always been great value and simple, but nice looking. Otherwise I'll go Zotac or PNY, basically the cheapest models.

I figured the 5090 would release in February about a month after a January reveal?

I accidentally broke an ultra wide screen this week and replaced it with a 4K OLED so I definitely want to go 5090.
