New Star Trek series - 2017

I think it will turn out to be a being from the Future, as there were Tachyon watsits found recently and that usually means Time Travel in Trek.

I did really enjoy this weeks episode.

Did laugh at the alien ship Saru and his sister ended up on. That room was a redress of the Transporter room.

That was one of the better episodes, very Trek but still with the over reaching story line tied in. Less dumbass teen drama Tilly and "I am considerably smarter than you" Burnham. Not sure what part this new Culber is going to play, but of an odd one.

I reckon we might be right that the Red Angel is Spock, but not our timeline Spock which will make the spore drive still relevant.

I certainly think it's someone in a temporal suit rather than any devine being or entity.

So after this weeks episode will it turn out that Spock is the red angel considering it's gone from a god being to a 'man in a suit'

A lot better episode this week as I suspected. There was the usual annoying things in the show that bothered my like how emotional fragile the crew are portrayed and the holding hands etc but I guess if this is how it's going to be so I'll have to look over it. I would like to have seen more of Ba'ul, very spooky and very well designed, the episode looked like a tribute to the Source engine from the Manhack type machines to the Ba'ul looking like the Witch from Left 4 Dead cross the monster that killed Tasr Yar.

Bar that briefing room scene making me feel dizzy this was a nice episode. Shame about the blatant set redressing, seems a weird place to save budget given the rest of the episode.

Really enjoyed this weeks episode. The Ba'ul were done really well, I was expecting generic cookie cutter alien race.

I agree with everyone else that it's definitely someone from the crew travelling back in time. I imagine in the first time line all these "events" ended badly - fast forward to the future and the crew member has to the tech to go back and right the wrongs.

My money is on it being Pike.
