I can, because monthly limits are actually MORE common than they used to be from what I can see. When I got ADSL 8 years ago I could download as much as I wanted (approx 150GB/month @ 59k/sec) and it was the same with most ISPs. It's only really the last few years where capping has taken off, now that online video is mainstream, and legal/illegal digital distribution isn't getting that way.
Anyway to answer the original question, I had to spread my downloads of compilation packs out over several days to make sure they took place in offpeak (unlimited) hours.

Tried the Osmos demo and while it's a pretty slow game at times it seems fun so figured why the hell not ... at £1.39 you can't go wrong!

With Virigin by downloading 1Gb i am aparently in the top 5% of users that use too much bandwidth. My connection gets cut by 75% by 5 hours if i dl too much between 9am-9pm. Basically i try to download after 9pm overnight that way i maintain a full 1.2 meg a sec
How much do they charge for unlimited...Well technically I can get it, but since it's really just BT or Eircom here, they charge silly money for unlimited. We don't all live in the same place you know

i was debating on getting that too. these steam deals are going to give me a extyensive gaming catalogue till the summer i reckon haha
