but to get sky LLU you have to live in the right area AND subscribe to sky tv. and if you can't get their LLU, it's a 40gb cap.

I'm well aware, I used to be stuck on 512kb and unlimited. Parents are still on 512kb and unlimited. Although trying to get them to change as it says 1.5mb is available now and they don't need unlimited.
check the small print. you'll find it's subject to a fair use policy. besides, the service sucks anyway. even light users only get a fraction of the speeds their lines can handle. loads of people can't even game or stream youtube videos in the evenings it's that bad.
Still better than a limit. Or even go plus net. limited during the day for your monthly allowance but unlimited midnight till 8am for very reasonable prices. there are options and no one has to be on a limit if hey don't want to be.

My original problem was actually not being able to launch the game. Although restarting my computer fixed that. After launching it, I had sound problems and I found that post using google. Thanks anyway

It's extremely slow and 'ambient'.
For the price -- yea it is .. especially if you appreciate when developers actually try different concepts within games rather than hammer out yet another FPS ...
just bought and downloaded armed and dangerous ! such a sweet game but is there anyway to cap the fps ? because atm its like the games running in fast forward mode and ive compared it to gameplay videos and like running and speaking is stupidly fast comapred to the gameplay videos :/
try the demo mate, that's on steam too .
Tried the demo and it's not for me, but it is very relaxing.
