NEW STEAM DEALS!!!!

Is there even Jaggies everywhere with 4xAA or 8xAA ???

Call me stupid but i don't believe there is an option for AA in GTA4, unless i've missed something

Yeah, I'm running GTA IV with pretty much everything set to medium on my system (I just used the -norestrictions command line file thing to unlock all textures/resolutions etc) and it's running at within 30-40FPS or so.

Thanks il try that.

If you think PC looks bad set it to Low detail for everything as thats the console version equivalent  (Consoles are also running this game @ sub 720P res as well they could not handle it at all) PC looks much better just hit P on the keyboard to toggle the blur filter which is there if the lack of AA bothers you or not. Shadows are the uggliest thing in GTA4 just turn them right down for more FPS and it looks better or wait a while until the sun comes up then see how pretty it can look.

Cheers il try that to and give it a chance.

For people that bought Beyond Good & Evil... have you managed to get a pad working in the game? It has no official pad support but I've tried everything I can think of and still no luck. Got a PS3 pad and a 360 pad and neither work, tried Xpadder 5.3 and tied mouse inputs to pad inputs and that didn't even work :(

It's not *that* bad on a keyboard although mouse view is a bit dodgy, would hugely prefer it on a pad though.

Normally it's quite quick, it's just getting battered due to all the sales.

Il have a go with my ps3 pad now and let you know.

Update: No luck here either with xpadder and ps3 pad, i don't have a 360 controller with me to try unfortunately.

So far, I've bought
Stalker
The Shooter Pack (Alien Shooter, Zombie Shooter, etc.)
Shadowgrounds Surviver
Riddick - Assault on Dark Athena
Painkiller: Black Edition
Rogue Trooper
For about £18.

So Far! Eying up Grid and Dirt and Freedom Force, and still looking for decent arcade aircraft/spacecraft fighting game.

There is a mod of some sort that basically renders it at double size and shrinks it again which helps a bit but i'm guessing has a fairly big hit on performance, IIRC.

Freedom force is a fantastic game, so much fun :D

I remember playing it loads back in 2003 but then lost my copy so I'm looking forward to playing some this afternoon

Cool.
I recommend Shadowgrounds and Survivor to anyone who hasn't played it - really well done retro topdown shooter, where you storm your way through hordes of alien bugs of various types getting power-ups for your weapons - nice visuals, addictive game play.

Cannot believe Ghostbusters is only £5.09  I paid £14.99 new for that a month ago.

Same, going to go all strategic from now on, if its something that im in no rush and never got on realese I'll wait till its in a collection or very cheap.

I'd already bought Medieval II: Total War £2.49 last week
I reckon it's the best game on the list, I've being playing it solid for days.
I have to pinch myself when I see the price

just added:
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl £1.39
Evil Genius £1.39
Overlord £2.99
Rome: Total War - Gold £1.24
total £7.01

Already have GTA4 from MM, a really enjoyable game.
For those looking at specs, it plays fine on a AMD 720, 4Gb, 1920x1080, XP
