Is Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent worth £5 if i have just bought Riddick? Or should i just wait for the new one and Riddick is a similar style game?
You don't need a huge screen to play TD games, and with an iPod you can take it on the move and play it anywhere.Does your ipod have a 24" screen
If you think PC looks bad set it to Low detail for everything as thats the console version equivalent (Consoles are also running this game @ sub 720P res as well they could not handle it at all) PC looks much better just hit P on the keyboard to toggle the blur filter which is there if the lack of AA bothers you or not. Shadows are the uggliest thing in GTA4 just turn them right down for more FPS and it looks better or wait a while until the sun comes up then see how pretty it can look.Yeah, I'm running GTA IV with pretty much everything set to medium on my system (I just used the -norestrictions command line file thing to unlock all textures/resolutions etc) and it's running at within 30-40FPS or so. It's still playable but it does actually look really crappy for some reason, I thought it would look equal to or at least a big better than the 360 version. Is there anything you can do to get it looking a bit sharper etc?
Ta, didn't spot that. Another one for the basket.Beyond good and evil
Am hoping for these
Need for speed shift / all the Command & Conquer games / Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box / Dragon Age: Origins - Digital Deluxe
SCDA is quite good game looks excellent in places and will run very well as it uses an early version of Unreal Engine 3. Overall not as good as SC3 (nothing is really) but for £5 yep you will get your money's worth easily but best played with mouse + kb as no gamepad support (unless you use xpadder). Is Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent worth £5 if i have just bought Riddick? Normally it's quite quick, it's just getting battered due to all the sales. Is Steam always this slow? Brought GTA4 yesterday, first few mins of downloading was quite good (over 500k/sec). After that (for the last 24 hours) it refuses to go over 60k/sec
Just downloading STALKER - Shadow of Chernobyl. Will it automatically have the up to date graphics or do I need to download the patch myself?
