Watched a few videos on Killing Floor, it does look decent. Comes accross as a rpg l4d? Might pick it up to play with friends etc.
 
People are asking about Space Seige.

I was going to get it ages ago and was looking up info for it. It seems like its so buggy its almost unplayable and it has been abandoned on the patch front.

But if someone wants to give it ago then let us hear whay you think.
 
Someone sent me a guest pass of Killing Floor a few days ago. Saw today's deal, started to fill in payment details, activated guest pass to download, then paid :P

It's similar I guess, I bought it when it first came out but I got bored of the same looking boss on each level. It might be different now though, lot's of updates since release :)

Prey was good if I remember rightly, worth a couple of quid anyway and the orange box is a bit of a steal at that price!

I do wish they would put some newer games up though :)
 
I definitely recommend KF for £3.74. I bought it at £12 (or thereabouts) and didn't regret it. It does get a bit repetitive after a long session but playing now and again is really fun. Plus with all the updates (maps, weapons, change in perks, etc) it's a lot better from when it first came out.
Like with L4D though, make sure you play with people you know or can communicate because playing with randoms who don't work as a team is infuriating!

If i hadn't have played paradise before, i would've bought it only to be disappointed. Isn't my cup of tea. Thought it would've been though reading reviews and i loved playing burnout revenge.
 
Not sure if it has been mentioned before, but if you are getting a slow download speed then try switching the server you download from.

You can do this by going to: file > settings > downloads.

Just change the download region on this page, I tend to alternate between UK, USA and New Zealand (Sweden is also a good one to try) depending on the time in each of these areas - this sort of time (17:40), the UK server is obviously going to be quite busy, so just try another.

Prey looks quite good, no doubt easily worth £1.35.

I've wanted burnout for a while but on ps3 so i could just fire it up for a quick session every now and then, how does it compare? Particularly the online play, i'd like to be able to jump straight in a race so im still tempted to just get it on the ps3. I'd be using my ps3 pad with motioninjoy to replicate the xbox pad.
 
Anyone having problems with Dead Space? It crashing with graphical errors. Is there anyway to uninstall Steam games and reinstall them without having to download them all over again?

I'm so envious of all you people who have yet to play HL2. I also cant understand why :confused: I bought it as soon as it came out lol.

But yeah its a bargain at that price, HL2 is really good, as are the episodes that follow. Also Portal is a brilliant game.

Prey is easily worth £1.35 but its not the best game ever. Its fun and i completed it and enjoyed playing it. It starts off awesome but then when you go into space its not as good.
 
killing floor is a good game and i would recomment it.


Was prey a good game in it own right? forgetting about the price.
 
Definitely interested to hear opinions on Space Siege - I'd literally never heard of it until today, which is somewhat surprising considering the developer pedigree. I'm guessing if it was any good I would have, and the metacritic score seems to back that up.
 
Pretty good deals today, bought KF and Prey. Pondering as to whether or not I should buy BP, I already have it on ps3 you see :).
