I remember now why I stopped playing Jade Empire on the xbox - Bioware employed their usual whiney american teenage girl to voice the girls. Just like in KOTOR and NWN2. Drove me spare, it did :)

Left 4 Dead 2 out around the same time as CoD:MW2 and its been in the sales from the start at £22.49 where as the later is at a wallet robbing £40!!

MW2 is only still at a high price as lots and lots of people are still paying that much for it. It'll drop eventually... although by that time Bad Company 2 will probably be out :P
 
I'd heartily recommend Jade Empire to any Bioware RPG fans. It's a lot shorter than their other titles but a lot of fun.

They've learned their lesson more recently and hired decent voice actors. See: Mass Effect, Dragon Age.

I dont think its money grabbing just stupid. Valve and other devs have said whenever they have reduced a price for a game then the sales can jump beyond three hundred percent, even after it has ended.

They just have a small narrow minded view, thinking if they have maximum prices for the maximum time means maximum profits.

This is why you should keep a list of anything you want appearing in the sale and only buy it all on the last day of the sale. If something from your list appears in the daily deals then great. You have saved yourself a bit of cash. ;)

Yeah, it was nice to see with Dragon Age they'd finally realised that the thief type member of your party doesn't have to be a female teen with issues :p

Mind you, Leliana certainly had issues, but she also had a sexy french accent :D
