New summer transfer thread

Leeds sign Newcastle's Paul Huntington and Motherwell's Alan Martin, both youngsters.

What's Huntington like Newcastle fans? I know there's plenty of you in here, good signing? :)

And not one of them a "big" player really, all squad players. Still if they do a good job together who cares.

Promising centre half paul huntington , seems a bit odd it wasnt a loan deal anyhow should do fine for you .

Rafa's number 2, Paco Ayesteran looks set to leave after reportedly having several disagreements with Rafa over the last 7 months which came to a head yesterday.

Lots of rumours going about as to what these agruements are about but its thought that Rafa made late changes to his (Paco's) pre-season fitness plan and then there's since been disagreements over the fitness of players and whether they should play or not (incident yesterday is meant to be about Gerrard).

I was starting to have my opinion on Sanchez change after a few of the signings.

But now, its back this is stupid!

Al-Fayed has promised a star loan signing, i hope to god that wasnt him.

Fulham look set to sign Danny Murphy and Seol from Reading.

With Rafa admitting that Paco he asked him to leave i can't imagine that he'll stay now. I can't see him going to Utd or Chelsea either, depending on the rumours you read part of the reason as to why he's leaving is because his family wants to move back to Spain and another rumour suggests he's been offered the managers job for a couple of Spanish clubs.

I guess we'll have a better idea of whats happening tomorrow because if he's not on the bench as expected im sure there will be a few questions asked, its not got much press today because of the transfer window and the england squad being announced.

With Paco Herrera and Jose Ochotorena already leaving this would spell the end of Rafa's backroom team for the best part of 10 years, im sure that if he were to leave Rafa would already know who to bring in.
