New summer transfer thread

So, with Carson rumoured to be signing on loan for Villa, will the £2.5m fee they are paying for his services mean he is allowed to play against Liverpool in the league?

Usually clubs dont allow loan signings to play against them, but surely Villa would try and get permission for him to, especially if they have paid all that cash for him?

It's specificialy against Premier League rules that loaned players can't play against their own clubs so it won't happen.

Djourou -> Birmingham.

Not happy with that.

edit: didn't see it at the end of the last page..
I swear I did find of "djourou" and it didn't come up

edit edit:

Really should read the things through before posting :o Title was "Djourou Seals Birmingham Move".

That to me says it is a permanent deal. Thankfully it is not

He was never that whingey, he never complained about tackles like Reyes or Robben.
He was still a whingey ****!
Just because he wasnt the worse doesnt mean he wasnt one of them!
Hes still a little faffing ******* tbh :D
Good on him though, he put up with the stick and settled into the league v well indeed, matured as a play v nicely. No moaning or BS on/off the pitch. Doesnt think hes god gift either. And hes getting the bed action with gemma atkinson(that right aint it?) *******

that cash is because they need him, they have money, everyone has inflated prices, especially since hes english.
They are paying his wages AND liverpool £2.5m for the year, talk about deal of the century. And hes getting some good first team action, he'll be a beast by the time reina needs replacing :D

Nope, people hate him because of the world cup. Even Utd fans did and as we've seen you lot would have been happy to see him leave
That's strange, I remember from day one of last season (at home to Fulham), he was fiercly cheered on by 99% of Utd fans.

Indeed at the actual matches everyone got behind him right from the start

Wonder why he's let him go, he's looked far better then Senderos and would be my 3rd choice centre back. He's very versatile too so can play all across the back unlike Senderos.

Senderos can play across the back four and has ;) I guess the reason is to make sure he has had some games in time for Jan when he will have play due to the ACN.

I know, some people get all the luck :(.
He's basically a bloody saint now, you never hear of him in the papers. Very much like Giggs and Scholes in that respect, full credit to Sir.

Yep, I was there and he was easily our most cheered player, we all went mental when he scored.

It's also when we started singing ''He plays on the left, he plays on the right, that boy Ronaldo, made England look *****''.

Not very well though lol. He's been less than impressive all of last season.
