New summer transfer thread

I reckon he'll be a big hit for Everton, shame he won't be the main penalty taker as he's one of the best in that department. Would assume Arteta is the main guy for pens, then Johnson.
 
gotta remember that hes been getting up the top of the scorers charts playing for poor teams aswell

29 goals in 65 Premier League games at boro

good record considering our recent league finishses :/ not like he was the only striker either , hes been along side JFH and fat mark

exactly.. why need a new midfield when we have plenty options if they are all fit...

butt and nzogbia dont deserve to be left out at the moment, but its healthy when emre and barton are back because they will obviously all want to be playing.

he has been linked a few clubs..

no chance he will be leaving, big sam certainly doesnt want him to go, i think he is enjoying working with big sam too,

had a cracking season 2years ago, was nowhere last year.. seems to be rejuvinated again this season

Hope Fulham get him. I really like him as a player.

I'm gutted truely gutted. Thsi is what we are buying for 11 million....

He added: "I chose to go to Middlesbrough because they were in Europe. At the moment they are not doing it.

"I think I made the right decision to come to this place. It is a massive club and it is a great feeling. There are great players and you want to play for a big club."

Next year when everton aren't in the top 4 or 6 will he look to move on again. A mercenary, I feel he will just show the same loyalty and fight he showed for Middlesbrough.

I guess he just wants what's best for his career, after all he made Midlesborough a few million quid profit.
