Keano seems obssessed with signing Strikers and defenders. Our midfield is the weakest part of the squad by some measure IMO and little seems to be being done in the transfer market as yet to rectify this.

The joke is, Stern John is actually a better player than Kenwyne Jones. I don't think I've ever seen a worse performance in the flesh than he gave for Saints against Palace about 18 months ago.

i was going to say what a brilliant deal it was offloading john for £6m :D
 
Don't trust agents... Rafa has came out and said this morning that we're unlikely to sign anybody before the end of the window.
 
sunderland has made some awful transfer moves, their squad is full of medicore players and is too big. keane has really shown himself up despite obvious leadership and motivating skills. when you think how much they have spent it really does make me wince. of course he has a smaller pool of willing players to sign but why not save the money instead then.

I believe the beye deal is far from done but i do hope we get him before the window shuts , always thought he was a pretty good player and faye will be a good squad player .

rimours from france is that Bye has allready had a medical just the clubs are cracking out a deal. And faye in the stands at our last match its a done deal

Anyway like i said earlier Rafa has said its unlikely that we'll bring anybody in now.
