New Top Gear (2011) BBC 2 8PM!

Clarkson is starting to BS a bit too much. He's always making out he's never driven a car as amazing, yet he says that every show. "I never knew numbers went this high. £500,000." Oh sure, like you didn't already do an article on the £1 million + pagani zonda R. :p

I do love that e-type and the e-type copy though.

He probably meant numbers that high for what it was.

If anyone built the same car except it wasn't or based on an E-Type then it'd probably be around £70,000-£100,000.

My only moan(s) would be I didn't like the Hummer bit and Hammond annoys me with his wise cracks. He just seems like a cheeky little boy. Don't think he used to be like that?

Ohh and Alice Cooper I couldn't give a toss about. Apart from that.. epic episode :D

Epic ending, but the show was just all over the place, SA hot sunny big massive vehicles, snow ice rally car hot woman, then British nostalgic jags

To keep the interest...make it a bit less predictable..and also to clearly set a divide between each bit. It wouldn't be right to have the E type bit at the start or middle would it? :)

Really enjoyed that overall. Good mixture of serious and over the top reviews and a decent challenge with a hot sportswoman participating. Loved watching James May bombing around in the Mini. Prefer these type of episodes to the ones where they waste half an episode prating around.

Only thing I didn't enjoy was the Eagle Speedster. Even though it's a new car I find the car it's based on and the way it looks dull compared to modern cars.

:o

Really? The E-type is a stunning looking car, and that Eagle Speedster looks like an astounding homage to it.

Only thing though...half a million pounds worth of car shod with Pirelli P6000s...hmm :D

Not a bad episode, enjoyed that. Unless it's someone I'm interested in I think the star in a reasonably priced car is a bit tedious.
