Power as in engine power converted to a force (which is the driver of top speed in a car assuming sensible gearing). Admittedly I called it power when it is infact the force you will be using. Manufacturers don't publish force of their car's unfortunately
All i was trying to say is that Cd isn't the only thing to consider when you want to know how fast a car will go!
You can get the force produced from the torque (which manufacturers give figures for) but torque is generally a better measurement of performance. Sorry for biting your head off - agreed about Cd * A for comparing cars!

I still remember waiting for a friend to pick me up one nightand hearing something coming down the road driven very hard, only to brake for the corner I was waiting at, flick the back end out, do a massive powerslide and then absolutely cane it down the road in a mint black m5. Sounded awesome
