Cool ! mind if i ask a few questions ? seriously considering an M3 saloon as a future upgrade in a few years.

Can the USB port used for plugging your ipod in ?

and is the extended courtesy lighting (the little led puddle lights in the door handles ) standard on the new m3 ?

had a stag do over the weekend and driving back was nice and comfy, about 1.5 hr drive from oxford through london. in the CSL i would have been ready to kill someone after that!

engine nice and flexible, both units good at high revs, new engine feels much smoother and a bit more torquey down low, so you dont feel the need to keep revs up quite so much in any given situation.

not really pushed it yet, but grip levels seem good and turn in nice with little understeer. :)

Sounds very good indeed, hopefully some track time will confirm just how good it is vs the CSL, seems like the E92 has a fair chunk more weight so it will be interesting how this effects the feel of the car on one of your better known tracks, (euro road trip time!) you should have a good benchmark between the CSL and various M5's to rate it in this department i guess :)

havent tried the ipod yet, but there is also a line in the centre armrest right by the USB.

wasnt listed as an option and got them on mine, so i guess those lights are standard. looks very cool when you open the car up at night!

really interested if the idrive has proper ipod integration. I know you can plug the 3.5mm audio jack in, but then you still have to change tracks etc.. on your ipod

Much better to be able to leave it in the glovebox and change tracks from the headunit etc..

I know previous versions of idrive needed an aftermarket ipod adaptor, so im curious if the usb port on the new version enables it to work without aftermarket kit !

It does have proper iPod integration, you should get a cable with the car (if not you can buy it from BMW, it's not very expensive) and it plugs in to the USB port and the 3.5mm jack and gives you full control over it from the idrive.

ditch the AC schnizter rims and this bodykit looks quite nice i think

dont think anything really needs to be done the bodywork IMO. either way that front splitter looks like it would crack right open on a speed hump!

While I fully apreciate the awesomeness of these things, hot versions of family cars are all getting a bit samey. I think its because there are to many in between cars with similar or the same body kits, but smaller, normal engines. Im a firm beliver that a top end uber hot version of a car should jump out at you and slap you round the face with epic unique styling and flair. Good car thou

Lovely car, but I can't help feeling the interior doesn't look as special as I would have hoped  Just looks like a normal saloon, when its anything but.
