new toy has arrived...

Hate the cover. ( e46 was pure sex, this isn't. IMO. )

Looooove the book.

You must have a dash mounted cam in place before you introduce her to the 'ring. :p

Cracking motor, was teased to chop mine in for one a while back but was worried how much further they were going to drop. Seems they've stabilised a bit now.

Enjoy :D

one of the reasons BMW dont appeal to me

i totally agree and i just dont get bmw interiors.

The idea is that it's understated. They're not a track focused brand. They drop in the hugging seats for those lateral G moments and leave the rest for you to figure out. It's a car for petrol head execs who don't want the boy racer image that goes with most capable cars but you still get decent comfort levels and cruising toys. I think it slots into the market nicely.

the interior may look bland, granted all black, but all the materials are very nice up close and you really need to sit in it in real life to appreciate what you are getting, its not garish, just neat and tidy with lots of nice little touches, I am finding it just like a cosy more compact version of the M5 in many ways. :)

never said it didnt

just replied that i didnt get bmw interiors. Same way as i dont get audi interiors either.

They're just too dull and boring. Yes i know they're really well made using quality plastics, but they just look dull :(

What interiors do you like? Not sure the purpose of an interior is to stimulate one's artistic / design side. It's supposed to provide a pleasant place to spend time in a car like that. Crazy styling and wacky "interesting" design doesn't really float my boat in a car's interior. If I want to look at modern art, I go to an art gallery.

As I'm a bit more awake now, I've just re-read the price & depreciation..... Wow!

Thats one big hit the initial owner has taken, I assume its price will at least for a while, continue to plummet.

Regardless though, you still have imo an absolute bargain.

Whats the MPG like? - Theres a chap I work with (not a driver!) who has a 57 plate like yours, he gets around 16mpg! - To put that in perspective, my 44ton Scania with a 12litre engine manages around 9mpg...

Very nice :D Good choice esp with the manual gearbox.

I know it's irrelevant in the UK but I'd be tempted to have the speed limiter set higher.
