Mid life crisis for sure, my dad went through the same thing, he purchased an old MG BGT classic car and done it up, sold that, then bought a Honda firestorm 1000cc super bike, then traded that in for one of those in the OP, then chopped it all in saying he was too old for it all

Is the fuel line / filter just meant to be hanging off like that under the tap? Looks a little dodgy is all. Otherwise, totally not my thing (how does it even turn?

Well spotted I'll put a twist in the hose so it tucks under better & see if it needs some support, Doubt it but it definitely needs tucking away, As for turning, Well lets just say there's not a lot of leaning going on.
