Their notifications are always trash and don't show up for me.

If I remember I try and check the app most mornings at 8. Or if it's something on the Nike app instead it can be 8 or 9am. I missed a lot of the low releases on there lately

I think they dropped in the US on sneakrs yesterday so maybe resell price will take another small hit.

Similarly I hit on the Jordan 1 Pollens via grailify on a restock. There are several Jordan 1s that have had a few restocks at launch which would suggest they weren't THAT hot.

Latest I was getting quite a lot of alerts on were the jordan 1 hand crafted, they would have been a doddle to get at retail if you were into them with those apps.

I don't know why but even if the resale is below retail I'm still more likely to buy if it's from Nike.

I guess it's because I can return if I have remorse like I have with some jordan 5s and 6s.

Remember you can make a bid you don't just have to press buy.

But also, you're just not going to get fakes of them, I've hung around those communities, they're basically all jordan and dunk. Practically nothing else so anything that niche will be legit I'm entirely sure.

Ok I see...so I typed in £240 and it says I am about to be the highest bidder. When would bidding end or would it be up to the seller to 'agree'?

It's not so much a bid as an offer. So it can just expire and nothing happens.

SOMEONE has what you want for sale which is why there's an offer price, but they can see whatever your offer is and choose to take it or not. Or there might be lots of people.. and one of them might or they all might not.

EDIT: You can also check if there are any other bids, just keep dropping yours until it says you're not the highest.

That doesn't necessarily mean anything happens though, like the person selling isn't normally going to be more inclined to sell to someone just because there's a marginally higher bid if that is £100 and they think their trainers are worth £300.

This is why I've said I buy trainers by accident, I get it in my head I want some, go put a speculative offer out there and then weeks go by and then I get an email and I'm all... crap.. I just spent £££ I totally forgot about.

Obviously no easy way to return either so once you're in you're in.

I managed to return a pair of air max 180s because they turned up yellow and honking of smoke but generally it's a done deal.

Cheers, not a fan of the colours....they look like the 180s you bought, pre-smoke stained for your convenience :D

Anyway, i bought a pair of Noble green toe AJ1 lows on ebay, they've passed certification and should arrive Monday....thought a pair of lows would be a good pair to ease me in, for the last 5 years i have pretty much exclusively worn different pairs of stan smiths as my casual kicks (and lebrons for playing in), and i guess AJ1 low and stan smiths arent actually a world apart!
