New Tyres needed

Going against what i previously said. £98 for CS3's is very good...

When i was looking at them they were like £120 in my size compared to £60 Toyo.

Should have gone for the CS3's but as i've said i feel they're more suited to a heavier car.

May be next time I'll get CS3, money is a bit tight this month, i still got a £800 credit card statement coming + other out goings as well.

Anyway, new tyres on, drove the 1 mile home and first impression is that they are quiet, much quieter than the old mismatch set. The grip is good (I think), it is slightly raining at the moment too but i haven't hoon it yet, not that I do that.

Also taken a look at the old set, the 3mm one (Pirelli) is at the markers so that had to be changed but the Toyo had a crack so that needed to be change too. The other 2 were okay as expected.

Anyway, the OCD part of me is happy now that i have a set of the same tyres :D

Did you keep the two others as spare (handy if you've got the space to store them)

Tyres takes a hundred or few hundred miles to wear in, there's a protective layer that stops them ageing on them

I have kept them for now, its in the boot atm, will stick it in the garden and decide what to do with them later. Prob try flog it in the local paper for £20 or something.
