New VXR8

Saw a yellow one yesterday travelling up the M1, one of the most ghastly looking cars to be put up for sale for a long long time.

theres only the press cars at the moment - one red and one yellow. Don't think the 5 dealer demonstraters have arrived yet. Oh and Tom Walkinshaw has an E2 HSV which looks very similar, don't know if its yellow though.

Was it DE 51 RED by any chance ?

Of course i searched for it, who knows what an ECO is off the top of their head. But somebody asked a question so i answered it. Are you not allowed to post unless its something from memory ? Oh no wait a minute i can't do that either because if i make a mistake i get told i'm not allowed to post and the standard of my posts "needs work"

So would i be better off posting a link to where i read it ? well no thats not the case either, because then apparently i can't post anything of any merit, because i'm only posting links and not actually partaking in discussion. But then when i do participate in a thread my opinion gets pulled apart and argued with for the sake of it, only then several days later for somebody to post the exact same opinion that i had been arguing for earlier in the week.

Seriously, this is getting tiring now. You're no longer allowed to bully MikeHiow because any threads that feature him and look like going that way just get locked. So instead its now fun to pick on me.

*** it i have no idea why i even bother posting here any more. I'm obviously not welcome.

Not sure what the reg was as I was headed southbound and it northbound, saw it on the other side whilst sat in traffic, more than likely headed from somewhere in Luton to Millbrook.

Its just funny, most of us when faced with a question on a subject we have no interest in and know nothing about will move on but you google the answer and then post it in a desperate attempt to appear smart :p

I'm not blaming you for not knowing what ECO stood for, but why did you care enough to google it and post the answer? :p

SOMEBODY ELSE posted a link to your posts, I found it amusing. Go accuse RobbieG of bullying you, because he is the one who posted the comedy RSS link.

Alternatively get a grip, stop crying about being 'bullied' and realise that the common link in all this is you not me and that nobody else attracts the replies you do. Ask yourself why, and if you don't like it, do something about it (That means stop pretending to know everything not go on some sort of warpath like last time). Otherwise carry on as you are and just ignore the nasty internet people :rolleyes:

It's just become a bit of a parody these days, if somebody is posting a load of quotes from somewhere else 9/10 times it'll be you and people just find this amusing.

The VXR8 is meant to be the modern version of the Lotus Carlton and performs better than the Lotus and is comparable in performance to an M5 at half the price (Not the new VXR8).
Its not a 50k car, not many people will pay 50k for a vuaxhall especially an ugly one, You can pick up a Bathurst S for less than 35k which would offer far more for the money or even a standard VXR for 20k why pay 30k extra for a facelift and a few unneeded extras.

Looks like I'm the only person that thinks every single incarnation of these is absolutely hideous. If it didn't have a big engine nobody would give it a second glance.

I personally love the Monaro, have disliked all the VXR8s and love the Camaro.

The VXR8s are fussy, whereas you can draw the silhouette of a Camaro (And to a lesser extent the Monaro) with 2 lines because its quite a simple design. So what if you can't see out of the Camaro as a result, it looks awesome, this doesn't
