New Warcraft Guild for OcUK

A lot of the low level zones are more populated due to the whole cross realm zones thing if I remember correctly, it works really well does make it seem more love instead of a ghost town at times.

I was shocked yesterday with how many people were online, I had to fight to complete quests and not done that for a while. Went into Ogrimmar for the first time ever (always played Alliance) and it was packed.

Hi guys. I am finally work free for a day or two and can settle down to get some WoW time in. Glad to hear the positive comments about the server and the guild in general. Great to read. :-)

So i guess theres nothing to do apart from boot up the game and have a blast... see you in Azeroth dudes.

Really enjoying it here to PUGs are still a mare so always best to bring your own tank/healer :)

I thought I was done with WoW after getting my last char to 90 as Ally but playing with a good group of people and seeing the game from the horde perspective has breathed new life into the old girl. I am also enjoying the lack of looms and cash as you have to earn what you have now rather than being given it by a rich alt.

I have indeed :) forums are up and running, just need to configure them and they are good to go. Had a busy weekend so not had much spare time but should have tomorrow night free to sort them then get myself leveling in game :D

I'm interested in playing with you guys, but it says to start from level 1. Would I be shunned if I made a death knight? I imagine by now you have several 60+ in the guild so it shouldn't matter too much.

Not at all mate. There are a couple of members rolling DKs. I think one is moving one over to the server soon, (may have done so already) so go ahead and start one up. I am not sure but I don't think there is any one at 60 yet.

There is talk about doing some vanilla raids come 60 so I think we could put a level cap on (yes I know I said we are not that sort of guild but there has been interest in it) to let a few other catch up and consequently get a big raid team going. Just a thought.

Once the website is finished I am sure there will be more guild guidlines and rules etc posted in there.

Level 21 myself :), the bulk of folks are 30-50 arent they?

I think a cap just for a week or so to let people stay roughly the same level is a good idea, then again a big spread of levels is also good :p

There is zero challenge in vanilla/bc raiding these days a good set of 13 folks can faceroll everything at 60 and most of BC (SWP can be tricky without dispellers). I wouldnt mind doing the raids as we level, but dont enforce caps.

I get the idea behind level caps, but the problem is that you're not experiencing the old content as it was back then. Send a load of level 60s into molten core and you'll faceroll it all with new talents and gear being much easier to come by. Obviously bwl will require a lot more coordination but I'm not convinced it'll be especially difficult or rewarding enough to cap the level at 60.
