Probably be in bed.

Girlfriend is down south with her family and everything where I live is closed.

First NYE I be by myself and not out partying or about to party :eek:

Basically this. Christmas fine, some people (me included) haven't seen family since this all started in March.

New Years is **** at the best of times.
 
Leaving the home isn’t an option to considerate folk.
I am not really one for celebrating, But me and my family will be celebrating Brexit eve. Together. Maybe a few pizzas and video chats between a few others doing the same at home.
It’s such a tremendous historical achievement. It’s good to be positive and walk into the new year with new optimism and spirits after this year. ( even if Covid eventually recks 2021). Attitude positivity is all more important nowadays. Happy Brexit eve to all.

Kind of forgot about Brexit with everything else going on. It turned out better than expected, to be honest. But mostly, the damn thing dragged out for so long I'm just glad it's over.

*This is a joke I'm actually about to put the oven on to cook the loads of party food the missus thinks we're going to eat tonight as I don't finish work until 4 and we never go out on NYE anymore because can't stand the pubs being full, but cooking loads means that we have lots left to snack on for the next few days.

I need to find a wife who doesn't work all these holidays, can never celebrate anything because she's always working. Getting sick of it tbh.
 
This is our households plan for the night..

Me and the missus are staying indoors, watch some movies, do some gaming, have a few bevvies.

Missus daughter is going to go round to her friends house for the night and have a small party and will return tomorrow for New Years Day dinner.

Missus son is having his girlfriend come over today and the two of them will watch some movies and have some drinks up in his room and will both come down for New Years day dinner tomorrow.

Its not over until everyone start benefiting from it. At the moment everyone apart from the wealthy are losing. So......Happy New Year!!!!! Same poop, different day, just as poor.
