Gutted I didn't see any real bears when I was in Newcastle.

Oops.

I prefer The Cluny, as it comes into on it's own on a sunny day with the grass bank outside. Ouseburn Valley is great though, can't believe I missed it off my original suggestions.

Yeah, sitting outside the Cluny is great. The Tyne bar is good now though with the extended beer garden and the redevelopment of the Ouse riverside.
